Latin America and the Caribbean are already suffering the global warming effects. The production, exportation, consume and waste management of goods generate emissions of greenhouse gases (GHG) which are measure through the Carbon Footprint. The reduction of this footprint maybe an opportunity to make the exportations of the region more competitive, specially the ones related to food.
